After the Q&A with the presenters based on questions from the audience, Xavier Montagne from the Ministry of Higher education, Research & Innovation closed the event with his concluding remarks. He emphasized that the full range of technologies included in SUNERGY’s indirect and direct conversion approaches from renewable energy to fossil-free fuels and chemicals are all essential for the energy transition. He is pleased to see that there are ample opportunities to further develop these technologies in the upcoming Horizon Europe work programmes that can be addressed by initiatives such as SUNERGY and ANCRE, and their communities.
The workshop organizers would like to thank all speakers and participants for joining and for their active participation. All participants are encouraged to join the brokerage event on EU funding on 29 April: https://www.sunergy-initiative.eu/opportunities-fossil-free-europe.
